Jedi Outcast is set eight years after the events of Return of the Jedi, and sees players take control of Kyle Katarn, a former Jedi who has cut his links with the Force after almost succumbing to the Dark Side. The games combine first-person shooting with third-person action, allowing players to wield classic weapons from Star Wars.
